It carries the same chassis, panel, camera and audio as the ES2 — a professional 4K camera with 2 μm² photosites and lens cover, 12-metre pickup through Acoustic Engine 2.0, and 40 W of audio reaching 95 dB — but with 8 GB of RAM instead of 12, and without the embedded encryption chip.
The practical distinction: if the room is ordinary and faces no cybersecurity review, the ES2 charges you for a feature that will never be exercised. If the client is government or financial, the reverse is exactly true.
Wi-Fi 6 direct projection is what users notice daily: enable Wi-Fi on the device and on a phone or laptop, and the IdeaShare app starts projecting without joining the same LAN — removing the most common obstacle in meeting rooms, an external guest without the network password.
