The real problem isn't brightness — it's heat

IP56 and IK10: what they mean in practice

The auto-brightness sensor — an overlooked feature

A display running at 3,500 nits at night isn't impressive; it's uncomfortable to look at, wasteful, and consuming panel life for nothing. An ambient light sensor steps brightness down as the sun sets. Across a 24-hour installation, the cumulative effect on the power bill and on panel lifespan is significant.

Before you request a quote, establish

  1. Facade orientation. A north-facing display in Riyadh receives far less load than a west-facing one — potentially a full class lower in requirement.
  2. Is there a canopy or architectural overhang? Partial shade changes the equation.
  3. Operating hours. Running past midnight requires a 24/7 rating, not 16/7.
  4. Mounting height. This sets reading distance, and therefore size.
