Integrated Boardroom — LED Video Wall and Conference System for NHC — Riyadh

Fast Vision delivered a fully integrated boardroom for NHC in Riyadh, combining a 36-cabinet Hikvision DS-D4012BW-2F fine-pitch indoor LED video wall with a 19-position discussion system and an AV-over-IP distribution network, all driven from a single Crestron controller.

Integrated Boardroom — LED Video Wall and Conference System for NHC — Riyadh

The Challenge

The room presented three problems at once. First, the LED wall, the discussion system and the video conferencing had to run from one control interface operated by the board secretary rather than by an AV technician. Second, audio and video had to reach 19 positions around the table without running a dedicated HDMI cable to every seat. Third, acoustic feedback had to be eliminated between four wireless microphone units and eight ceiling loudspeakers in a closed room with reflective surfaces. Solving any one of these while ignoring the others produces a room that passes commissioning and fails in a real meeting.

The Solution

The room was built in four layers. Display: 35 Hikvision DS-D4012BW-2FCr fine-pitch indoor LED cabinets with a DS-D4012BW-2FC/M master cabinet, a DS-DT60P-2HDI12NO/U sending unit and a DS-D60C-B controller, mounted on a purpose-fabricated steel structure sized to the available wall depth. LED was chosen over projection or tiled LCD for two reasons: a continuous seamless surface facing the board table, and consistent brightness unaffected by the room's ceiling lighting. Participation: a 19-position discussion system built on JC-LS1560MT touch-screen delegate units — one per seat — showing the agenda and documents and managing speaking requests, driven by a JC-AH104 central unit and a JC-PC1546 mini PC. Audio and remote meetings: an MVC S90-C5-007 video conferencing bundle, four VCM36-W microphone units, two MSpeaker II units, and eight BOSE FreeSpace FS2C ceiling loudspeakers driven by a PAX-240 mixer amplifier, plus a 65" Samsung LH65WADWLGCXUE interactive display on a mobile floor stand and a Barco ClickShare CX-20 for cable-free sharing from any seat. Distribution and control: five Crestron DM-NVX-E30 encoders and four DM-NVX-360 transceivers carry audio and video over a managed NETGEAR M4250-8G2XF-PoE+ network, with the whole system driven by a Crestron CP4 4-Series controller. Any source reaches any display with a single press.

Execution

The project was completed in approximately two weeks. Work began with the steel structure, the installation of all 36 cabinets and calibration of the wall, followed by the distribution network and the 19 table-mounted delegate units, then the ceiling loudspeakers and microphone units with level tuning to eliminate feedback, and finally the programming of the Crestron CP4 controller to bring every function into one operating interface. Final testing was carried out on the system as a whole rather than subsystem by subsystem — the difference between a room whose components work and a room that works.

Results

A complete, ready-to-use boardroom: 36 LED cabinets, 19 equipped seats with touch-screen delegate units, a full audio system and video conferencing, all operated from a single panel. The project was handed over with supply, installation, programming, testing and operator training, so the client's team ran the room from the first meeting without on-site technical support.
