The K3 is the newest model in the IdeaHub family (datasheet revision May 2026), and the only one available at 98 inches.
Built for the classroom, and every specification decision serves that environment:
Forty touch points — double what the office models offer. In practice: a full group of students writing on the board simultaneously without conflict. Infrared touch technology with sub-4 ms response and ±1 mm writing precision.
Dual OPS slots — a technical feature many overlook: an Android module and a Windows module can be installed at the same time, with software switching between them. A classroom needing both Windows educational software and Android apps doesn't have to choose, or reboot.
A camera of 48 MP or above with a diagonal field of view of 135° or more and horizontal 122° or more — considerably wider than office cameras (typically 80°), which is what covering the full width of a classroom requires.
Audio of 60 W or above across three or more units in a 2.1-channel or better configuration — the power needed to reach the back of a classroom without an external sound system. Plus an array of eight or more microphones covering 10 metres or more.
It runs Android 15 on an eight-core processor with Mali-G610 MC4 graphics, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage — the highest storage in the education tier, allowing substantial teaching material to be held locally without a network.
The eye health package: optical (not software) anti-blue light with TÜV Rheinland certification, an anti-glare surface, automatic brightness adjustment, and 7H glass hardness by pencil test.
NFC screen lock and unlock — a teacher taps a card to unlock the unit, simpler and faster than a password in an environment where many teachers rotate through.
Operating life exceeds 50,000 hours, across 0–40 °C, 10–95% humidity and altitudes to 5,000 m.
